Steem blog. Focus on Steem

in #steemit3 years ago

Someone asks me, why are you not bothered even if the steem price goes down? Or why do you like it more if the price continue to go down?

What I said: Yes, It would make your account value smaller since the steem price goes down and the computed account value is based on the conversion of steem to USD.

But the goal is not the estimated account value. Don't be blinded by the estimated account value but instead focus on the volume of steem you will collect.

The more the steem you got the better. Imagine you have a 10,000 steem power that you bought from 0.5000.

Then the price goes down to 0.2500 and you bought another 20,000 steem. Then you already own 30,000 steem power.

With this steem power, you will participate with voting and posting a content that would help you to accumulate more steem while the price of the steem is still bouncing to 0.500 to 0.2500.

Now imagine this, what will happen to your 30,000 steem power after 5 years and the price of the steem is around $10 per steem?

Then you will have $300,000 worth of steemit account. Not to metion your accumulated steem while participating in steemit activity like upvoting or posting.

This is the logic of the longterm investment in steem coin. I hope this helps with your longterm decision in investing in Steem coin.

Happy investing!!
