STEEMIT Clickbait Title — The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly

Sometimes smart, often leads, to and 100% distraction, you can now barely navigate on steemit without coming across them…

Hey are you still following me I’m talking about steemit clickbait title. Or were you trying to looking at @dollarvigilante post but anyway here's some examples.

Don't quite no when it started, but in the last weeks I been on steemit I started noticing, clickbait titles, the votes found on @dollarvigilante, @kencode, @calaber24p, and even @craig-grant, have become the clickbait magnets.

They really make you want to CLICK AND UPVOTE?

Here’s The Good

They draw audience interest – By actually getting clicks and upvotes with nothing more than just a creative way of the title what could be a unique topic.

Now The Bad

While you do get a lot of unique clicks, it’s not the only thing that you want for your steemit post. What is the point of lot of unique clicks if all of them have very low steempower on the post?

Unless your steemit clickbait title is supported by good content that actually in interest with your readers or users, it’s likely that anyone who finds themselves clicking on your link will just downvote and exit.

Which Leads To The Ugly

Fact is, steemit clickbait titles aren’t so shiny and new anymore. The startling titles aren’t so startling when every other post on the steemit claims to be. Clickbait was good when it was different and unique.

But because everyone on steemit is doing it now, it has led to some ugly content on the platforms found that actually get penalizing it; because while they play on curiosity, the clicks that you’re getting aren’t actually qualified clicks. As an steemer, you have an opportunity to be creative and come up with title that compel your visitors to click and upvote your content.

Just be sure you’re being honest on steemit and providing good content that delivers on the promise the title teases. Remember, a good title doesn’t just get clicks. It gets the RIGHT CLICKS. The right clicks convert. At the end of the day… that’s your goal.
