Here we see Steemit.com is dominated by that black bar at the top, whereas Busy.org is much more gentler on the eye.

          If you go into your steemit settings page you can now have a banner picture-just drop the image you want into the - - - COVER IMAGE URL - - - and you have a banner image. Banner image size is about 1500X200.
