Just A Thought

Patriarchy asks why would a girl do that, be that. It asks why would a girl dare to be what she wants to be.

Feminism said no. A girl can choose to be whatever she wants to be. Do whatever she wants to do. It demands that women should have equal rights with men.

Fantastic! Right?

In a strange twist though, Feminism has started attacking the same ideals they were propagating barely a decade ago. Now feminism says a woman can’t cook, can’t be just a mother, can’t be just a wife. A woman can’t choose to be what she wants to be. You must have a career. You must assert yourself over a man. You mustn’t in fact be seen as deferring to a man.

Summarily, it would seem that gradually but surely, feminism is replacing patriarchy in its bid to keep subjugating girls.

In a paradoxical twist, this freedom is bondage.
