The Twitter Poll BTCC Exchange votes are in from overnight where STEEM was up against Eth. Classic to be added. Update , The Good News + a Word of Thanks everyone.
We really rallied in the last 2 days before the final votes were cast and $ETC has won the voter poll by a score of 47% to 40% over STEEM to be added to the big Chinese exchange.
Whoever won this chance to be added as a currency on the huge Chinese exchange would better position themselves in the marketplace and it would help the currency and all people holding that currency.

$ETC rallied at the last minute, overnite - they gained about 7% on us in the last few hours, where at noon the day of the final vote (y-day) - we were actually ahead of ETC.
The Good News:
There were 191k votes cast. No matter what happens, this did put the STEEM currency and community in front of a LOT of people.
I am not sure how we lost this, with all the active people On Steemit blogging daily many of whom are on Twitter but I wanted to update everyone on this and say thanks and wish the ETC community the best for their win too.
I blogged on this EVERY single day for over a week and tweeted on it multiple times/day to remind people about this to remind people to vote and get involved and keep it in eyesight.

The voting showed the community power of Steemit, some who did not have a twitter account created one just to vote. My Gut tells me that Steem would still be added to the Exchange despite the loss.

I agree with you on that. What's to prevent the BTCC from adding steem as well. Seems kind of infantile really. They are in fact running an exchange. I did my best encouraging my twitter following to vote but we just couldn't overcome the bots!

They did a lot right, for sure, right from the start -- early on they had 40% of the votes and levelled off, as Steem caught up over 2 big days ---- then got that big 6-7% gain overnite.

Is there an expected date for ETC to be added?
No ideas but as I have said in this post today and in my own posts the past week of these updates I did ---- I had said it would make sense. For sure.
