You are right, perspective is the key. He probably thinks having ideals for yourself ánd the community ánd society is just silly dreaming. I think it is silly to think that crypto currency is only a bad thing. A lot of good things are happening right now, even if crypto totally fails these good things have happened. For example a new way of thinking about currency and more knowledge for more common people. Even if it fails we can analyse what went wrong and maybe include solutions in our new dreams of freedom.

I don't believe it will fail however. My silly thinking sees solution for things that have been problems for years. Problems created by scarcity. Problems the stockmarket people didn't find solutions for, maybe even didn't see because they live in their own bubble.

Maybe you can make a reward card for your father one day.
