My bitcoin wallet hacked twice !
A guy offered to download the script that can multiply my bid on a gambling site
he said its free
we chat and we chat for 1 hours straight
i did win some of coins on that gambling site
so i just leave it autoplay by itself and i went out to store for couple hours
for buying groceries
when i get back the bid was lost on gambling site
then i go to my online personal wallet online (which not protected by google authenticator)
to start my trading activities as usual
then the event happen
all my balance was sent to an address which i didn't own
3 btc just vanish like a thumb click
at first i didn't suspect anyone
until the next day
my 2nd personal wallet also went empty
i keep searching and wondering who and how someone hacked into my account
and i came out with proof and conclusion
the guy who's giving me the script is putting phishing on my computer
and with advice from some friends i should reinstall my computer and puts on google authenticator as a double protections.
by the way i let someone check on the script unfortunately it did contains phishing script that can remote my computer access to other computer and it also allow someone to see what you been working on and have all access to your bookmarked websites
it turn out that guy (script guy)is hacking on to my email, which i use for log in all my money making sites
i cant even contact and find him anywhere anymore
lesson learnt
this is for you guys
protect your computer with strong antivirus
install google authenticator
do not download any suspicious software

For security reasons you should access your email accounts for crypto from a separate device thats reserved for cryoto emails only.

The hacker needed to get into your email to to get your bitcoins moved. If you where using a different device for crypto emails only the hackers script would not have been on the email device. Part of the reason crypto exchanges require email confirmation for a withdrawal is so you can get the security of a separate device. If you setup an email address for crypto only and use a separate device it will be much more difficult for hackers to get your coins. Its important that you don't use the separate device for anything other than crypto emails, no web surfing no downloading and don't give the crypto emails to anyone that doesn't need to have them.

No I'm not one of them. I just understand if the hackers script isn't on the device that you use for email conformations the hacker cant get your email passwords. I am into biohacking.
