Your first post should be a banger , here's why:

- It's the very first thing that people see if they scroll down to the bottom of your blog

- The community can get to know you

- More moolah

People get curious so they may wonder off into the endless abyss of your blog , only to find a post which is 1. not entertaining 2. not insightful and 3. a shit-post . You don't want this to happen as this can only mean bad news , and you don't want that. When they eventually end up on your post it should look amazing , all those numbers.

If the community does not get to know you it's a bad thing , they are the people who are supposed to be giving you feedback and tips but you don't even know them?! . The Steemit community is one of the best I have seen on social media sites , although it isn't the biggest it is most definitely the most helpful. If you have a strong link within the community the people who like your post will tell their friends, who go on to tell their friends , and you want that.

Who doesn't love a good old bunch'a money?, after-all half the people here are only here for the money, and that's what I hate. Coming here for the money shouldn't be your main goal , it should be to share your ideas and entertain your audience , not for money . But your first post should get you a lump sum if it is a introduce-yourself , after-all , we all want to get to know each-other.

How can we tell what a good post is? like how many upotes or how much money or how do you judge it?

You would Judge it , For example : How grammatically correct it is , how many mistakes you have , if it is interesting to read etc.
