Why don't celebrities start using Steemit?
Certain celebrities boast an online fan following of millions.
For instance, football player Cristiano Ronaldo has over 56 million followers on Twitter. He uses twitter not only to boost his profile and often certain humanitarian causes but also cashes in on the social media account through various promotions of products he does on said accounts.
If one of the main focuses of most celebrities is to use their social media accounts to generate money, why don't they start using Steemit? They do not get paid on Twitter for Likes and Retweets.. Here they can get paid for upvotes which are equivalent to Likes on Twitter, and resteems which is the equivalent of retweet on Twitter.
