Everybody's having a success at steemit and I'm not.
Your steemit friend who has 15 days, a month on the platform or maybe more and feels that you have not achieved the expected results.
You started with a couple of friends and they already have a reputation of 40 and you stagnated at 27.
You're the one who hears every day from whastApp groups about SBD to BS swaps and in your purse it seems like there's a black hole that doesn't even allow you to reach 1 SBD to invest in a voting bot....
You who feel that the platform is flawed and frustrated every day a little more.
You who think that at some point someone put on Harry Potter's cloak of invisibility and you didn't realize....
If you have considered some of the previous items, then this post is for you.
When we have contemplated some of the scenarios mentioned, then we begin to feel frustration: We say that the curators don't love us, we blame third parties, we say that the platform is flawed, that sutano became a friend of sutano and that's why they have so many votes, we say that we were born starry and stop counting. And sometimes it turns out that the last thing we review or consider is what we are doing or not doing on the platform, what we are radiating, what we are publishing and how we are relating to ourselves that we are not meeting the expectations raised when starting to participate in this platform.
Before questioning outside, an internal review is necessary.
- Am I publishing quality content?
interacting with others? - Am I being reciprocal with my peers in mutual support?
- Am I leaving empty comments where it looks like we don't read beyond the front line or am I being assertive and consistent in giving my opinion?
- Are we really putting passion into publishing or do we just want a strong vote that will generate a lot of money for us?
- Are we being guided by a precarious economic situation or are we looking beyond what a platform like Steemit offers us?
In life to achieve goals we must be constant, disciplined, dedicated, positive, enthusiastic, passionate, persevering, with an attitude receptive to success and in Steemit things are no different.
Now, take a breather, relax and do a review of the issue. Draw your conclusions. You may agree on some of the points above or you may not, the important thing is how you are going to project from now on to achieve your goals here.
Ready, Steemians friend? Then let's get to work...
Recommendations to grow and succeed in Steemit without getting frustrated in the attempt:
Strive for better and better content.
Be your own judge, your own teacher, your own motivator. Review your blog: analyze your evolution. Be objective: what it lacks, how you would improve it. But beware, without judging you, you may have done a good job but you can always improve.
Check your spelling, writing, grammar, consistency in everything you publish.
Be resourceful. Be careful to make publications that are pleasing to the eye.
Get the publishing line in the most comfortable way.
Build community. Follow those people you can have affinity with.
Don't follow people by following them, because they have a reputation, or because you want them to follow you back. You'll fill your feed with content you might not be interested in and miss out on meeting users who might actually become part of your community.
Be original. You can inspire yourself or grab ideas from something you've read, but don't plagiarize, don't copy content, that's frowned upon.
Work envy. We know that as humans it is normal at some point to feel it, but in Steemit envy will not take you away, on the contrary, it will only frustrate you. May these successful people be inspirational, the engine to grow day by day.
Don't compare yourself to others, everyone grows at their own pace.
Let your competition be in the mirror.
Enjoy publishing, DON' T get hooked on the result, don't get obsessed with a strong vote, don't make your publishing experience a pleasure.
Be thankful, when you enter Steemit you will not have invested a penny, only part of your time, and you will be able to earn not only financial compensation, but growth in many areas including social.
Better to go with short but firm steps, than with anxious jumps that at any moment will lead you to stagnation.
When you publish, do your best, hoping for the best possible result and: release.
If you think you can or don't think you can, you're right anyway. We are creators, success first make you believe it, feel worthy. Believe in yourself and the rest will come in addition.
