How to co-share reward on Steemit

in #steemit7 years ago

I don't actually co-write, but I reserve a part of my author reward both to the app developer whose application I use to do so, and author of the source article I read on Steemit, whoever that may be.

The application I use is the

Now, I read how to use it the source text and some other review, still, I faced some troubles.

First, before you use it, empty the browser cache.

If you don't know how to, follow these instructions.

How to clean cache on Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox

Google Chrome
Top right menu - Settings- scroll down- Advanced- Privacy- Clear browser data- beginning of time - check cached images and files- clear browsing data- when done, restart browser

Mozilla Firefox
Top right menu - History - Clear recent history - Time range everything - check Cache- Clear Now- when done, restart browser

Short tutorial how to use the Steemwhales Post

Go to the Steemwhales Post and create your content with co-authorship. A page has a simple form, which you have to fill up with some values.
For your convenience, it is the best to pre-write your content in the text editor, or in some other application, and then copy/paste it in the form.

Title - whatever you find fit

Permalink - will be created from the title.

Post Content (Markdown/HTML) - This means that you can use both the HTML and markdown, just as in the Steemit editor.

Tags - make sure to leave one space after the last tag, otherwise ( in my case) it gets cut off.

Author Username - your name without the 'monkey' sign.

Author Posting Private Key - go to your account - wallet - permissions- show private key- copy the long code and paste it into the box.
This code is used only for posting, it can't affect your balance.

Beneficiaries - add a username of a co-author or co-beneficiary, who will receive part of your author reward.
In my case, my author reward was always around 80% of the whole sum reward, so the percentage is counted from the 80% value.

Steem Dollars % - 100 ( this means default 50/50 reward, half of 80% author reward goes to the SBD and half into the Steem Power)

Max Accepted SBD Payout - 1000000 ( just leave it as is)

When you styled your article to look exactly as you wish - pictures, headers, titles etc - press publish and if everything is ok you will get this notification in the bottom of the form 'Success! Your post is now public on the blockchain. '

The advantage of this application, besides the option for the co-authorship, is that it features a clean and user-friendly interface, fast posting and has no complicated, advanced settings.
