New Power Down Option Available!

I wanted my SP to power down, as I don't really have a good enough job to pay for all my bills. Therefore I clicked the power down, and to my great surprise, they have introduced a new tool for powering down. You can now adjust how much you want to power down.

Why Is This Great?

As I/you of course want to keep our amount of SP as many as possible you might only want to power down the exact amount that you need. As for me, I would only need something like 100 STEEM pr. week to thrive. I would lower it if the price of STEEM increase. So by adjusting it to 100 STEEM pr. week, I no longer need to power down all my SP. This keeps my curation rewards where I want them to be. If you power down 100 % all the time, you will quickly drop your curation rewards.

A lot of SP on the accounts also keeps the STEEM price more stable, as people don't have any liquid STEEM to trade for. That's another positive thing.
