My Suspicion........
....that Steemit is kind of "Ponzi-like" scheme, seems to get obvious more and more
Am sure, nearly nonone here is rewarded for "high-quality" content
you simply have to invest with "hard" currencies - so the inventors will get their paybacks (and you als investor get some cents back) ;-)
as soon as there are no more investors (e.g. for the shares) this project will collapse........... am quite sure bout that, sorry :-(
Steemit should be recognized as a social network. People get rewarded for their social networking skills. I've seen a few newbies rewarded for good posts.
As for you comment about ponzi schemes: All currencies, including Federal Reserve Notes, are ponzi schemes. There is no intrinsic value behind the currency just the hope that future buyers will value the currency.
The great value of SteemIt is that it has people talking about economics. The dips are great because dips have people come face to face with economic reality.
some good arguments... yep
but for a good social network the architecture still is much too weak
had good hopes last year, as I started - but very frustrating ;-)
Or you can invest nothing, work the system and earn money.
Sure, big players controll who's rewarded more than anyone. But how do you think the real life industries work? You invest a bunch of money and you either make it or not. No amount of "hard work" gives any guarantee in business.
Good luck.
never had to invest in my Web-channels
and got a lot of good jobs out of it (incl. Youtube-payouts) :)
and I´m really paid for my original work in Arts and Marketing ;-)
