STEEM POWER and LEASING

What is Steem Power? Steem Power also known as SP in short, is basically a token symbolizing how much influence you have inside the Steemit platform. If you have a lot of SP your upvotes will count more and will award different authors SP and Steem dollars as well.

In order to check your SP, go to your wallet and you will find it under the STEEM POWER. So if you are just a minnow like myself, our upvotes would just be basically from 0.00 to 0.01 depending on the delegation given by @blocktrades once we signed up but do you know that there is a way to have a bigger SP aside from buying steem (which requires big amount) from SBD or the steem backed dollars?The answer is lease SP.

As of today, I can vote other steemians for 0.37 dollars(depends on the current rate) with my 100% vote. In return, I get the curation rewards in SP when their post pays out. I prefer voting them less than 30 minutes when I am online so I can share the curation rewards with them too. Voting after 30 minutes means you got all the curation rewards all to yourself.

Why not? Aside from the SBD you will get during pay out, you will also get curation rewards from your own upvotes.

I admit, being a minnow with low voting power feels like you are a small fish swimming unnoticed with bigger fishes in the ocean With leasing even with a small amount of sp, You are somehow visible to others because of the weight of your vote. Good writers finds it easy to blend it but for an average steemian who have limited ideas and err, english, it helps me a lot. You are more likely to get notice if you have more steem power.

I am currently leasing steem power from @blocktrades. Unfortunately, @blocktrades disables the steem delegation at this time because it currently fills the pre-orders. For the accounts who lease from @ blocktrades and wish to extend their sp delegations @blocktrades will automatically send a reminder 2-3 days before the lease expires. Try to check @blocktrade’s steem delegation from time to time. Maybe it will resume its delegation within this week and armed yourselves with sp. No buts and what ifs. Lease.
