Regardless of intellectual conflicts and difference in opinions, we should consider it a loss for all of us when any one leave steemit, diversity in everything is the real power in social media, i meant it will be very boring if anyone looks different pushed away either directly or indirectly.

        
  Diversity in everything is the real power in social media.

 Diversity in my opinion will lead this platform to success. lets see what is better, an international platform, people steeming from everywhere with different background, interests, cultures, languages and opinions. every one is important and add something to the platform, even those who don't about anything but money. On the other hand a selective platform which is open for every but do not accept any one, there is a criteria and mindset should be met to fit in.
I think we all want to be the first but actually we are going to be the second if we continue with the same attitude.

Community have the power to change the current attitude to value opposite opinions, to consider it what make this platform unique, our difference make this platform special and interesting and sure will help steemit in long term, without accepting other, we will be in a hot conflict  zone with dramatic change every now and then, by the end of each conflict someone is leaving. 

Dan is different

My impression about Dan was that he isn't social. What a dev of social platform is not social? it is just first impression. I don't know dan,  i haven,t seen him commenting in something other than developing steemit, no documented joke or funny blog\comment ever. But i respect the man, i trust him only by reading his blogs and steemian opinions about him, and i was shocked to hear about his resignation. By the way he never voted for me before, maybe he don't have the time to vote socially. I imagine him thinking
"OK people you vote to each other now and will focus to develop this platform so it will be great after 5 years"
I don't understand coding to know how Dan did a great development to this platform. but i can sens it in every conversation about him. Some people just know how to bring out the best in others, Dan are one of those, he has clear positive affect in people around him, they believe in Dan and love em, although he is usually serious and don't talk to much. It is hard for me and them to accept that you already gone .

Disclaimer: I am not accusing anyone about anything, just want this platform to thrive over our little disagreement. In spite of some negativity in this blog am all the way positive about steemit with few exception of some doubtful thoughts which is normal.
