Captain Marvel herself, Brie Larson, touched down at Toronto International Film Festival 2017 to promote her directorial debut movie, Unicorn Store, but she also had a few (very positive) words to say about working with Marvel Studios. That’s one of the things that I’m so impressed with at Marvel... although they are this big company… they’re stories are really character driven and they care a lot about the journey of these characters, and they understand that these films are a metaphor for the things that are very real in our lives.

So there’s been a lot of talk about it, they’re really open to the things that I have to say about it, and its super collaborative so it feels like any other job at this point which is really wonderful.
