1.1. What Is Tpot?

a. Basic Phylosophy : Visions and Mission
Tpot or @tpot is a community on STEEM which was founded by @ghayas. Amongst the purposes are to bring cryptocurency related information and knowledge to the community and to help low powered Steemians (minnow). According to @ghayas, the Whitepaper is no longer functional.

"The idea behind Tpot community was to to build a place where we can nurture you cryptocurrencies and extend help to Steemit minnows. Origionaly, the plan was different as mentioned in the Whitepaper but we didn't follow it as we thought that wasn't that fruitful for either side. So for a while we ran Tpot bots as an instant bots but ultimately we stopped that service." ~ @ghayas

The name Tpot refers to the English word "tea pot". The philosophy is that the pot is a container that can also fill up another containers (glasses, cups, etc.). This can be called visions from @ghayas in starting and running the Tpot community.

"The idea was to fill and to get filled. The community is like a family and you profit as much as you put in be it the efforts/skills or investment." ~ @ghayas

@ghayas then transformed that vision into a mission, which is to treat Tpot as the container of more 'wealth' and from there is to share more with others.

b. Putting Philosophy Into Action
The 'wealth' I mentioned above is not only in one dimensional, but multi-dimensional, including: wealth in the form of knowledge/science, wealth in the form of finance, and wealth in the form of social value. Then how is the distribution of these assets done in Tpot?

1. Wealth in the form of knowledge/science
   If you pay enough attention to @ghayas' blog, you will find articles that are packed with information, especially about cryptocurrency. If you find things that are difficult for you to understand, @ghayas is easy to talk to.
2. Wealth in financial form
   • If you study @tpot's blog, then you will see that every week @tpot hosts a contest giving 25 Whaleshare each to 3 selected winners.The weekly Tpot Contest banner.
   • On Tpot Discord server, @ghayas has opened a channel named #post_promotion where members can paste their article links. Members can take advantage of auto upvote from bot provided by embedding a particular code in front of their article links when they paste them to the channel.
3. Wealth in the form of social value : meeting the needs as social beings
   • As social beings, we need to establish and maintain relationships with others. This is not only important in 'offline world'. In fact, the 'online world' as a place where people meet and interact virtually also requires it.

Nama Tpot mengacu kepada kata dalam bahasa Inggris tea pot atau poci. Filosofinya adalah bahwa poci adalah sebagai wadah yang menampung (minuman) sekaligus juga alat untuk mengisi penampung lainnya (gelas, cangkir, dan sebagainya). Ini bisa disebut sebagai visi dari @ghayas dalam memulai dan menjalankan komunitas Tpot.

@ghayas kemudian mentransformasikan visi itu menjadi sebuah misi, yaitu untuk penampung lebih banyak 'kekayaan' dan juga untuk berbagi lebih banyak kepada sesama.
