For cat lovers, having a cat is certainly not just a hobby. Maintaining these cute and hairy animals seems to bring many benefits to the mental and physical health of the owner, after all.

  1. Happier
Based on research in Australia, cat owners tend to have better mental health than those who do not have pets. Cat owners involved in the study claimed to be happier and more confident and less nervous. In addition, they claim to be more sound sleep, focus, and easy to face life problems.
Another survey in Scotland, involving 2,200 respondents aged 11 to 15 years, revealed that children who have a strong attachment to a pet cat have a better quality of life. Increasingly attached to pets, children are healthier, energetic, caring, not lonely, and able to enjoy their own time.
Other studies reveal that, people who raise cats have fewer negative emotions and alienation than those who do not raise cats. In fact, those who are single but keep cats, rarely experience bad mood.

  2. Stress relievers
The results of a study involving 120 married couples were conditioned on a stressful situation, it was noted that cat owners recovered from stress more psychologically faster. Why can cats soothe? Because cats won't judge anyone for what we do. This explains why in some cases, cats are more influential than our partners.
Karin Stammbach and Dennis Turner of the University of Zurich explained, cats are more than just small creatures that depend on humans. Instead, we also receive comfort from them. Studies show how much emotional support a person gets from a pet cat based on how the owner is looking for them in a stressful situation.

  3. Good relationship
A study found that cat owners tend to be more socially sensitive, trust others more easily, and are more friendly than people who don't have pets.
When humans and animals make someone feel better and connected, the capacity to give kindness and generosity to others will occur spontaneously. The study explained, children who were able to communicate well with their friends turned out to have good relationships with their pets.

  4. Healthier
A study involving 4,435 people in 13 years. Those who have had cats, tend to die less from a heart attack. When risk factors such as blood pressure, cholesterol, smoking, and body mass index are calculated, those who look after cats look superior.
James Serpell from the University of Pennsylvania studied 24 new people who had cats. They complete the survey in 1 to 2 days while bringing their cats home for 10 months. In one month, health problems such as fever, head and back pain, tend to decrease.
James assumes, those who have good relationships with pet cats, tend to get sustainable benefits later on. Compared to people who raise dogs, cat owners tend to be more open with new experiences.

So Lets find a suit cat (not pussy. lol) for you and make your life healthy and happy.

Happy reading and Cheers!!!

Warm regard,

Andy
