I think Apple is in a freefall from the launch of the iPhone 5C and on. I've been an Apple for many years and I closely watch their moves. Yes there are good things happening (like the encryption battle) but all-in-all i think they're just squeezing money out of the customers and we're starting to see it.
It's not working anymore since there are so many options out there.
