Will there be a thing called “Autonomous Cross Censorship” on Steemit in future?steemCreated with Sketch.

There are still a lot of things I don’t know about Steemit or this new decentralized world, so please correct me if I’m wrong. What I share next is just my thoughts and opinions only.

According to what I understand, right now steemians can freely flag any content that we “don’t like” (Sometimes, we don’t like ugly truths either). In other senario, there can be also someone or groups of people trying to crush another’s reputation by flagging. So, there should be a better mechanism for those scenarios.

In some aspects, Steemit can be considered a society and it fuctions like a real society where we have a group of people called “Police” and citizens pay the tax for them to do the work of assuring there is no criminal in the community. Simply put, this group of people will do the work of cleaning bad things from the community in a fair manner.

Steemit community do need this group of people like this (allow me to call it “steempolice”). Supposed we had “steempolice”, to be the member of steempolice, Steemit citizens would have to go through a verifying and commitment process based on the official regulations agreed in the community. With steempolice,  we can have some solutions to assuring all contents are protected in the right manner:
[Solution 1]:
- Flag button will be switched to Report button for users.
- steempolice have the right to activate report into flag after verifying the report is true.
- After flag button is activated, steemit users can now flag the content with the proof comments
- steempolice members will monetize based on the number of flags on that content until the steem of that content is dried up.
- the users giving flags can also monetize from a percentage of the flagged content.
[Solution 2]:
- steempolice will find and resteem the violated posts with report comments in the steemabuse tag.
- Other users will flag the posted content with more comments of proof s there
- The more reported content is flagged, the more steem of that content is dried up.
- Steempolice and flagging users will monetize based on the flags of the content.

As I know, currently, Steemit only has a “steemabuse” tag and an account named “steemcleaner” (I don’t know if this is an individual or a group of people, and not sure it is official or authentic in the community or not). I can see “steemcleaner” industriously posts report comments and flag contents everyday, and there are daily reports on this account blog. This is a good move and signal for the future of the community.

For me, decentralized social community is a great place where we can see ideas and arguments from all different perspectives without any censorship and it’s the place where we can find megaminds. It can truly empower the freedom of speech which is the catalyst for revolutions of the better, and this can only be done when all the rights are protected in the right manner.

How do think about this? Is there any other ideas to make Steemit community better? Please share with me.

FREEDOM. What does that mean??

"the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint."

Ok. For example, if I want to show you porno , is it OK?
