This is Andres/ AtticusVG and today I want to talk about OPUS OR OPT (aka overpowered for any geeks out there haha).

So what is OPUS? - This is a token under the ETHEREUM Blockchain that seeks to decentralized and revolutionize the music industry.

What pain are they trying to fix? - The music industry is highly centralized and dominated by big companies that basically have the power to decide who gets where an how far they can make it. These companies, not only manipulate each artist success but they also take a lot of the earnings while taking advantage of people hard work.

What is their project? - OPUS vision is to create a platform in which music cannot be censored nor controlled by a third party (spotify, pandora, songza, recording studios) and belong to everybody while at the same time compensating content creators and artist for their job

How are they doing ATM?? - They have already released a beta platform that has been performing very and are working on final tweaks to go mainstream

I personally think this is a great project that is trying to solve a problem that we all can relate to. I have a YouTube channel and making profit from it seems to be quite impossible. Big companies like that do not let content creators strive and make profit their work. I think of OPUS as the Steemit of music
