Super Mario Bros. 2 is a platform video game developed by Nintendo for the NES, but it was also known in Japan as Super Mario USA, this was due to this version of Super Mario Bro. 2 was not the same one that was released to the public in Japan, the original version was considered to difficult by Nintendo of America. So nintendo has to make a decision to make a quick convert to an easier Super Mario Bros. 2.

Eventually the version of Super Mario Bros. 2 reach the western market, but with the name of Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels, I'm not strange to the Japanese taste for complicated and difficult games being a great fan of the series of Dark Souls games, but I think that Nintendo should trust more in the taste of its fans than the fear of proving something new.
