There's an issue with this format.

Now, I'm not saying it's a terrible issue.

Just that steemit is different from facebook or any other social site.

It's a social site built like an article pubishing site.

What does that mean? It means that there's hardwiring for long, detailed articles, overlaid on a user expectation of giving a mildly long status update.

I'm saying there's a tension between ease and technical ability, while also limiting long-term publishing possibilities by restricting pubishing to a lack of being able to be edited. Even if it's some sort of edit that costs money or something.

Doesn't information change? Maybe you eventually find a spelling error.

Well, that error after 7 days, is cemented.

Yes, you can make another, corrected post, but why not include the ability to, in some way, edit?

That isn't to say that if you can't master speedy editing to include many of the links you want to share, as if you're making a video and sharing each moment to a tangent of thought, like @pewdiepievevo does in his videos, but that's going to exclude most people.
