A Big Difference Between Steemit & Other Social Medias

OK there are MANY differences, I know, but this post is about a particular one I find fascinating, and this will mainly be interesting to those who are NEW to steemit.

That is the small logo appearing after your name or your post.

On other social medias, you can be verified, and then that app will place some kind of blue logo by your name on your profile page.

Here on Steemit, the logo can appear after your POSTS.

However, this doesn't mean that the app has sufficiently spied on the account and deemed it "worthy".

Here on Steemit, everybody has the same opportunity. That logo after some posts on steemit, such as THIS post, means that the post has been 100% powered up. In other words, the author decided to get 100% rewarded with Steem Power instead of Steem or Steem Dollars as well.

Steem Power is what everybody is all about on here (:

Hope this shed a tiny bit of clarity for some of the Steemit Noobs out there. I was one about a week ago LOL, you get obssessed with this site quick and that's why it will soon be the #1 social media site!!
