I am not surprised at this change, as I foresee many and constant changes, just as it has been since Steemit first started. I'm not worried too much, as constant changes are the nature of the business with startups like this. There are still so many things that need to be ironed out, and there are contingencies that come up (such as too many registrations) that need to be addressed. I am curious, though, how the invites will work.
