Facebook vs steemit

Is that true facebook doesn't pay us for anything when you do any posts.. Definitely facebook doesn't pay us for any posts in their platform so why want to be so dumb to do posting on facebook why don't we just do it here in steemit? Steemit pays for even the most horrible post .. If there is a way for merging with facebook i think the developer of steemit would be struggling to work it out of the box.. Clue less don't know what is steemit going to achieve next.. Is there anyone who can explain what is steemit going to be in the end? Is steemit going to survive or facebook going to survive?
