1 Year On Steemit

Ive been on Steemit now one year and its been an interesting journey of ups and downs in the crypto world.

The best thing I've taken away from Steemit is how its pretty much been my single source of cryptocurrency knowledge. I've learnt so much in my year of being here.
When i first started here Steem was only 10¢, look at it now.
Ive introduced my mother and brother to Steemit.
The worst thing ive taken away is its a lot harder to earn on here then you might be led to think.

I must say I've really enjoyed posting my photograpghy and writing little pieces on my experiences with crypto.

One thing I have found very interesting with Steemit that you dont see with other social networks and its probably because money is involved is it really does mirror society.

You have your rich whales that are god like and the minnows look up to and some but not all act like they are above everyone and just like in real life create bussinesses that offer services that keep the poor poor and make the rich richer, example all the paid whale upvotes (they really are pretty pointless when you break down the reward from the amount of money you put in).

Then come the middle class, the hard workers they put effort into their posts and really add value to Steemit. They work hard and get rewarded nicely for their effort.

Then come the poor, the ones that beg for upvotes and lick ass but are too lazy to put in any effort into their posts so they never reap any rewards at all.

If you ever wanted to see a mirror image of real life society just spend a year on Steemit.

Now i must say ive fully enjoyed my first year here and wont be going anywhere soon, ive powered up and powered down and enjoyed being rewarded from my work on steemit.
It has bought me a PSVR, paid for a holiday and ive invested in many other cryptos from my powerdowns.

Looking forward to many more years Steemit, we're only getting stronger.
