No sure, it's just a place to get small rewards unless whales up vote your posts... And that happens when "icons" arrive on steem what brings more people "potential investors"...

It's decentralized and you're criticizing its core membership. You won't have any luck like that.
Luckily you do understand what decentralisation means!
