Tip: Protect your comments from troll-downvoting by upvoting them

There are some people (or bots?) who just downvote comments for the lolz - and that makes comments disappear if they have no upvotes. I don't know if they are trying to gain a larger percentage of the comment reward pie or not, but I saw it a couple of times already. 

One way of protecting your comments from troll-downvoting is by upvoting them yourself, even if you have very small steem power. 

So next time you post a comment remember to upvote it if you want it to remain visible. 

Alternatively, if you feel it's not the "modest" thing to do to vote your post (akin to pressing Like on your FB status), you can upvote it as a remedy if you notice that your comment "disappeared" by someone downvoting it.
