STEEMLAND - A New Land In A Virtual World Of The Internet

Today social networks are a normal part of our life. We should give credit to social networks for playing an important role in supporting communication between people. We can communicate freely and without any censorship with whoever we want - no distances between the countries, no borders, no other factors prevent us from doing it.

Can a social network be compared with a Land?

Social networks are not only about communication. Perhaps, someone doesn't know that, but they are also about business. This business is not only for creators and owners, but for users as well. For instance, Facebook gives an opportunity to earn to different kinds of users-from beginners to advanced and experienced ones. Beginners can do some simple things, such as putting ''likes'' under somebody's posts. Much wider perspectives are opening to the experienced users-promotion and advancement of different groups and communities, browser game and app development, and trade management. And it isn't the whole list of opportunities. In other words, you can get a job in the ''land.''
On August, 24, 2015 social networking service Facebook passed the mark of one billion users.
Regarding that Mark Zuckenberg wrote: ''It means that every seventh person on the planet has used Facebook to keep in touch with family or friends. This is just the beginning for the unification of all the world.''

And Facebook continues growing and developing. This year the number of users has become more than 1.6 billion. If Facebook was a country and its users were citizens of that country, then it would be one of the largest countries in the world. It is interesting that in this ''country'' people speak different languages, and its territory covers the whole globe. To compare, let's take China, for example. According to the statistic, this year the population of China is going to be about 1.4 billion people.

Steemit - it's also a kind of a 'land' or a country. Name of the country - STEAMLAND

Steemit - it's also a kind of a 'land', or a country. Of course, now it isn't very big, and it doesn't have many citizens. But due to the 'immigration' from other 'lands', its population can increase a lot in the nearest future. The history of the USA shows that when there are financial opportunities, a lot of new 'settlers' can rush into the country. At the moment, an economic situation in the STEEMLAND is favorable. By the end of 2016 It might have over 1,000,000 users. Of course, even this number isn't big enough but, if everything goes well, it is supposed to be a few times more by the end of the next 2017, dozens or even hundreds of millions.

STEEMLAND is far from being poor-economy capitalization of this new country is $ 168,874,608 and it's the fifth place in a world.

STEEMLAND is far from being poor-economy capitalization of this new country is $ 168,874,608 and it's the fifth place in a world. Anyone can earn in this country. In the very beginning the Steemit founders announced that any user would be rewarded for his vigorous activity. But Steemit set a goal to go even further. Everyone has to work here. If a person doesn't do anything, his capital will reduce, and after some time he will get bankrupt. If he doesn't fill his account, there won't be a place for him in the country. And this is fair! Everyone must bring some benefit to the society.

In fact, it is becoming more and more obvious that STEEMLAND - it's a ''newborn country'' with its territory covering the whole world and a a new type of social and financial relationships. Steem and SBD - it's a kind of money of the further economy generation, or universal currency that is going to be used by the citizens of this country. Today we use an ordinary american dollar to buy something or pay for different services; SBD will play a similar role in a virtual world. These days people are used not to have cash (fiat), instead, credit and debit cards of different banks are used for cashless operations. Cryptocurrency - it's a next step in a financial operations development. Virtual cards are used by many of us. Recently a CNN journalist Will Ripley showed in his reportage that in China you can manage everything without using your normal wallet with banknotes. A digital wallet which is in your smartphone is good enough for that. No matter, if we are ready to accept this fact or not, soon this is going to be a reality in other countries as well. The process can not be stopped.

Steemit - it's a conductor into a world of the new currency. Some pioneers have already made their start-up capital which was transformed into cash or cashless money of a country they live in. They have tried to withdraw their earnings, and their trust in the reality of this solid currency has become stronger. I think, at first, others will do the same thing. But when they become sure that SBD - it's real currency, there will be a new stage of collecting and using it for payments. Why should you pay more for changing your currency and withdrawing your cash when you can spend it directly? The moment is not very far when the Steemit users will buy something paying by Steem and SBD. You already have an opportunity to do it. Go to Steem Powered Marketplace site and see some of the offers.

In a conclusion, I want to emphasize that:

STEEMLAND - it's a new country with its citizens speaking different languages, living according to the same law and using the same currency. And do not forget that the whole history of this ''land'' is being written in blockchain. And no attempt to forge or rewrite this history is going to succeed!

Yes, a country doesn't have to be physical. I would love to see internet based countries, communities, that would be governed voluntarly by their own people.
