Steemit suggestion on Upvoting Power and helping Minnows
Good evening steemians. I hope everyone in steemit community is doing great in steem platform. Its almost a year since I joined steemit and theres a lot of improvement done by its creator.
We were simple dominating many social media platform that really pays the author. It such a wonderful thing that I am now a part of steemit.
I would like to share some sort of ideas came out to my mind that really made me take an action to post it on steemit. We were already making it stable but still many were leaving the platform.
I want to suggest this idea to steemit, and i hope every readers of mind will resteem this one to reached the attention of the creator. This ideas can help the community to proceed to the next level.
Steemit must make a limit on upvoting our own content. This will give a chance for everyone to upvote the one who really post a very informative and quality content. I have a suggestion on this.
The user can only upvote 5x to any of his comment/post because every 100% upvoting weight, its upvoting power will reduce by 2%. So if they will upvote 5 post of 100% upvoting weight, thier upvoting power will reduced to 90% (2%X5). The user has also a limit of 5 upvotes to any post that the user want to upvote. Dont worry because the upvoting power regenerates 1% every hour so you have 24hours a day which returns your upvoting power to 100%.
This suggestion can help all members of the community. Because it allows everyone to upvote not just for them selves but for everyone who really made an effort to create quality content. Everyone on the community will benefited on this suggestion.
