One Year on Steemit! - My First "Steemiversary"
When I came across Steemit, I thought it seemed interesting and joined. But as I'm not much into social networking websites, I wasn't sure if I'd manage to remain active. It turned out I really don't post that often (usually only twice a week, with one being the post in Portuguese and the other one the English translation). Even so, to my own surprise, one year has passed, and I'm still here! :D

February 8th, 2019 marked one year since I joined Steemit. On this day, my stats on SteemWorld.org were:
- 112 posts.
- 797 comments.
- 53.466 reputation.
- 106.582 SP.
One year ago, I couldn't even imagine reaching half of these numbers. I have no idea what the future holds, but I'll keep steeming on, even if slowly, and we shall see where it leads.
Actually, I wish I could celebrate this milestone with a cake. It's what I had decided to do many months ago, when a reader (@niallon11) gave me the idea on a comment to my 50 reputation milestone post. But unfortunately, I've been going through some tough times this year, and especially these recent weeks. Last week (the week of February 8th) I wasn't even in the mood to post (the reason I'm one week late to talk about the 1 year "steemiversary"), and I'm still not in the mood to celebrate anything. Too bad, but the cake plan will have to wait. Maybe next year...
