New Chinese industry .. "Robotic" ships deadly

A Chinese war maker has unveiled its design for small robotic warships that can boost China's maritime capabilities and surpass its Western counterparts in the Western Pacific, according to the British Mirror newspaper.

These small, unmanned robotic warships can travel up to 500 nautical miles at 43 knots.

The deadly vessel, JAI ARI, developed and manufactured by the Chinese shipyard, is 15 meters long and weighs 20 tons.

The deadly vessel can be equipped with eight small vertical launch cells, torpedo launchers, an automatic machine gun in the front, and a rocket launcher in the naval confrontation.

The ship is similar to the Chinese-built "Top 55", but it can carry out missions that can be carried out by the destroyer.
The robotic ship was equipped with an electro-optical sensor, a radar radar and a sonar to detect and target air drones, ships and hostile submarines, according to Defense News.

The Chinese warship was displayed at the IDEX exhibition in Abu Dhabi.

The discovery comes at a time when the US Navy is preparing to detect its own robotic ships, including two unmanned vessels, one small-scale exploratory that can carry sensors and radar, and a large one that can be equipped with rocket launchers.
