I created a this video to cover the switch to Steemit of a Youtube channel that I have followed for years and appreciate very much, with mentions of the channels @sgtreport and @dollarvigilante . In this video I cover some of the Steemit website, and social media platform from a newbies point of view!

I think the concept is sound though... Steem or something like it is going to totally revolutionize social media. But good points. I'm personally trying to find a balance between seeking rewards and adding value. I think you have to add value but still be strategic about it. Same goes for bots... a lot of the bot stuff is not adding value... I'm okay if they are adding value though... I personally been using bots on my other social media for a longgggggg time. For the purposes to add value to and get more information from social media. But gaming the system is wrong. I doubt all the things going on are totally shallow even the games going on. It's probably a mix. Definitely interesting to follow the progress on here.
You have made good points. I also believe in what Steemit is trying to accomplish and that they just need more development to fine tune the sites usage. In this video where I cover the censored blog post, I foresee a time when 7 accounts will not be able to override a couple hundred other accounts. If anything, those couple hundred accounts would be able to down vote the 7 and have some retribution for what they did. In the end, it doesn't really matter to me, as I am here for the content, not the rep or the rewards.
Great video! I learn quite a bit from this post and I have seen people complaining about bernie, and thanks to your investigative work it looks maybe this bernie has multiple accounts? Either way I seen how hes tried to down vote even new people like out of some sort of jealousy, and maybe even racism, just because the post was by an Asian person and he felt it was getting overvalued. Sounds like envy that some Asian peeps know how to and are able to boost the value of their posts!
