This is great :) It's unfortunate, however, that authors writing informational articles don't get rewarded later on when people find their work on Google searches like this since the payout period is only 7 days (and used to be just 1). These kinds of articles might only be useful to a few people right after they are written, but potentially many people in the long term. This as opposed to an article on, say, the recent BTC price which pretty much is only useful right after it is written.

I once wrote an article about capturing the northern lights with a GoPro that took me a really long time to make but made almost nothing on here. I'm sure it could be useful to people later on, but I decided to stop making informational articles on here for that reason.

I see what you're saying ! It's unfortunate that there is such an over saturation, and that good, underrated content doesn't get the appreciation it deserves. It's true what you say , some articles do have longer term use than others.
