YOUR VALUE IS IN YOUR SELF ESTEEM

One major factor that determines your worth and value in life is the perception you have of yourself. No one is rated better than he rates himself. People respect you with the same measure of respect you have for yourself. No one wants to rate you more than the value you you present of yourself.

When people treat you as lowly as they can, treat yourself as highly as you can. If they put you in a position lower than where you ought to be, you can always rise to the position that truly belongs to you. Even the holy bible says, ' do not esteem yourself more highly than you ought to' this implies that there is a high position meant for you that you should not try to rise above or fall below ( in essence, it means to maintain your lane). It is expected of you to maintain your high position.

The only cure to the way people treat you is the way you treat yourself. In the paradigm of life, even life itself treats you the way you perceive yourself.

How people treat you doesn't determine who you are, who you are is revealed by your perception of yourself.

Never depend on people to find out who you are, no one wants to rate you better than themselves.

If you want a change in the way people treat you, you also need to change the way you treat yourself. You can not treat yourself better than you perceive yourself.

It is necessary for you to place some value on yourself and give yourself some essence and importance that the world might not be seeing in you. There is no single person in this world that knows your value. It is in your hands to portray the value you want to be rated with to the world. You have great potentials that the world is ignorant of. Not one person in this world is aware of your potential, it is your responsibility to make known your potential to the world.

Each time is say I am @adesojisouljay, I am forcing my personality on the mentality of people. Even in my greatest challenge and hard times, I still don't want to see myself as lowly as the situation might want to treat me, I always aim at rising above the situation. When the issue regarding our housing came up, in the second video, I concluded by mentioning that I wasn't feeling sad. Not because the situation doesn't warrant me feeling sad but feeling sad wouldn't solve the problem but will rather magnify the problem.

You always have the ability to surmount even the most complex problem, but whether you'll win or lose depends on how you perceive your self. Do you see yourself as a winner with the ability to bring down mountains or you see yourself as a weakling without an ability to face or confront a battle.

There are certain things that doesn't determine your worth. For example ;

●MONEY
●CLOTHS
●THE HOUSE YOU LIVE
●YOUR FAMILY BACKGROUND
●YOUR EDUCATIONAL LEVEL
●THE CAR YOU DRIVE

I'll explain in details in the next part of this post how all these are not supposed to measure your value.
All these things are what we exalt and use as determinants of our value. But in the scheme of life, we should not base our worth on all these things.
