As you can all see there is a little bit of green around Steem today, which is always nice to see. We're only talking a small amount but an increase of just under 1% from yesterday's price is still a move in the right direction. We're still seeing a lot of turbulence in the crypto markets right now and it's very difficult to gauge a concrete direction of travel. The crypto compass is a little undecided at the moment.

It seems that the former price models we used to rely on are changing. As we know we did not see the long anticipated Alt season we had hoped for, despite a long bull run for Bitcoin which saw it hit that all time high of $69k. Things have somewhat changed in this game and we're still trying to work out what's behind the change. We reckon that now the banks and the big boys are in crypto that might explain some of this change, perhaps it's the main reason. Either way analysing price trends in crypto is going to get more of a complex task.
