Steemit business reviews would be huge! What if we could earn SBD and SP by leaving a review for a business we recently visited using a new service Steemit reviews. I don’t know about you but I am always trying to decipher company reviews and decide what reviews are legit and what reviews are fake, Steemit could design a company review system that rewards people to leave reviews but also punishes you if you leave a fake review and get caught.
How it would work
If someone leaves a review for a company the review would have to be verified that they really went to the business with proof of visit by providing a photo of the receipt from the recent visit of the business they are reviewing, a photo of their credit card bill showing they went there or a photo of them holding a verification sign at the business of the recent visit.
Miners
The public would not be able to see the receipt or credit card bill showing they went to the business they left a review for. How it would work is miners have to look at the documentation that has been provided as proof of the recent visit and they would either accept the proof of the visit or reject it and miners would get 25% of the reward that the review receives from upvotes. If miners reject the proof of visit then your post is made less visible like someone who has a negative reputation on Steemit. Miners would decide your reputation on Steemit business reviews, your proof of visit would have to be mined by two miners though to ensure accuracy for the reviews and if both miners don’t agree then the review goes to a third miner who decides the reviews fate.
Two month curation period for company reviews
On this new service the curation period to receive rewards for upvotes would be two months for upvotes and the author rewards. This longer curation period would give curators a chance to look over the review and check it for accuracy and decide to either upvote or flag the review if they find it to be false. You would also have two months from the day the visit took place to leave a review for the company or else the review would disqualify and be deleted by miners, so you can’t leave a review for a store you had a bad experience at 5 or 6 years ago we want current data, not information that is years old and outdated.
How the Steemit business reviews section would look
The Steemit reviews section would look similar to this, you might notice this looks similar to Yelp, I have made a few changes to how they Yelp format looks. This would give people another reason to use Steemit and possibly bring more users to the site for business reviews.
No other website functions to verify reviews or visit
What made me think of this is that I have been in a family owned business since 2007 and I have seen times where people leave a b.s. review when they did not purchase anything from the store and in some cases seem to not have even visited the store. This would be designed to be a reliable source for reviews because every review has to be verified by two separate miners as a proof of work (proof of review). Right now anyone can go onto a computer and leave a review on Google, Yelp, Yahoo, or anywhere for a business they may have never even been to. This proof of work would be a better review system and it would help eliminate false claims on reviews. Plus this would be another way for everyone to earn some more curation rewards.

Yes that would be nice if they create a business review section.
since businesses like to switch it up on a quarterly basis... why not let the curations sit for just as long so other reviews or "re-reviews" can cancel or balance each other out
