RE: Steemit: Meet Steemit's first Community Owners and Administrators | @ned delegates | Github and Whitepaper extracts | Community thoughts

This would be a great start re:tags. And i think the plan is for everyone to be able to create a community.

Thing is, we really only need one of each type in each location (i think), so the bigger player who is perhaps already present in that community will 'win'.

The Github spec has more details on what is likely for communities: https://github.com/steemit/condenser/wiki/community-Spec-%5BDRAFT%5D

Thanks for your comments man, was a little quiet in here!

I don't like the whole idea with moderators and administrators, though.

Imagine that some percentage of curation rewards goes to tag curators. This is when final tags set of every post is up to curators (all users). And the person whose set is most popular gets most curation reward and finalizes tags for a post. This solution is financial incentive for content structuring and categorizing.

It would be like mixing reddit and wikipedia. People get paid both for creating content and for categorizing it properly.

I agree. Even though this could be seen as taking additional time/work and therefore deserved of reward, I can see it benefiting the key users the most.

It's going to be very interesting that much is certain!
