Voting between 0 and 30 minutes
I read some information about the voting reward going back to the post author when you vote earlier than 30 minutes after the post. I tried to find the precise info in the white paper but couldn't
Could someone clarify that please?
There is a linear split between 0 and 100% as time from post goes from 0 to 30 min. If you vote after 5 minutes then you only get 16% of curation reward, the rest goes to the author.

Hey. So as far as I am aware, if you upvote before the 15 minute mark, 99. something% of the shown amount goes to the author. Between 15 and 30 minutes, it's 50-50 split between author and upvoters. After 30 minutes you get something called a curator payout which is just steem power
" all curation rewards earned by voting in the first 30 minutes after a post is made will be shared with the author. If you vote immediately after a post is made, then 99.94% of the curation reward will go to the author. If you vote after 15 minutes, then 50% will go to the author. Any votes made 30 minutes or later 100% will go to the curator. This only applies to the curation rewards. The author still gets at least 50% of the total rewards.”
