Ready to Shoot the Steem Film

It's a beautiful autumn day in Berlin today, so the shooting for the Steem film can start - we nearly had to cancel it, as it rained a lot yesterday, but the weather gods are on our side.

In a long and complicated casting process, we have identified four Steemians to play a role in this promotional video. No, I am kidding, we actually did it the easy way and asked four active Steemians who know each other well. They are all from Hamburg, Germany, but I think they do represent the global usership of Steem as if they were selected in a worldwide casting.

The lady on the left is @soldier. She has been a dancer and actress for many years. On Steemit she mostly writes about dancing and travelling.

Next to her is @mrs.steemit, one of the most active German Steemians. Being half Indian, she somehow represents the South Asian part of the Steem community. She writes about fitness, yoga and other things on Steemit. Sometimes she joins PiedPiper for his video show.

The next actress is @agent. She grew up in Hamburg, being half Chinese, half German. Life between two cultures is one of the topics she writes about on Steemit, and she also covers many other topics, such as food, travel and psychology.

Last, but not least: @sirwinchester. Being from a British-Jamaican background, he is one of the most well-known and successful German Steemians. He has organised the first German Steemit meetup in Hamburg and covers many topics, such as dance, food and personal development. Sometimes he writes short stories and poems on Steemit. He has been teaching dance to our three other actors for many years, so I assume they can act well together.

I am glad that I met all these wonderful people through Steem, and I am positive that they will represent the global Steem community well. At the moment of writing they are being prepared by our make-up artist Susi. We will head to our shooting location in a few minutes.
