RE: 📊 Top Level 1 commenters for 20180415, active hours and how their comments looks like (by @ace108)
Judging from the top comments, it must still be working... hahahaha... It really must be a numbers game, I guess even with the nonsensical comments, with enough frequency, it's probably profitable.
Maybe. If it's automated much, the joker don't really need to do anything and mini-pennies do add up.
Have a look at this one from @timcliff

It confirms to me how at the current situation, it is easy for people to do this if they know how to bot it.
Setting too high a threshold would hurt minnows and without minnows, growth of the community would also suffer. A community of whales and dolphins stretching each other's back and milking the system isn't the healthiest nor sustainable either. I guess perhaps leaving it as it is and having the ecosystem work it out itself would be better. Or if anything, stopping bots might be a better solution. I don't know about others but I would prefer to interact with humans.
I think there's room to develop intelligent bots but I've not seen any real intelligence so far.
One of the lame one was this "onewordcomments"
Hahaha... Either way, it's a great time to live in as we see how all these evolve and change the world as we know it.
