The Diary Game: 20/05/2021 My Thursday Experience by @sammy55

Hello everyone, how are you doing? I hope you are all doing well, thank you for your attention as I share some real time and interesting moments of my day.

It has been two weeks since my school went on first semester vacation. The vacation is a three week period and it is supposed to span from 8th May to the 29th of May 2021, but for some few reasons, I chose to stay behind to do a few things. I am a level 400 final year student of the University for Development Studies. And as part of our curriculum, we are supposed to undergo a project work in a partial fulfillment for the awarding of a bachelor's degree certificate on my program of study.

This project in particular was one of the main reasons I stayed behind so that I could make some time to concentrate on moving further since we would barely have ample time to do so when school resumes. So in other to save myself from too much pressure/stress of academic work and other activities, I chose to stay back since the impending semester involves a whole lot of activities.

In fact I must confess that, the place has been boring over the vacation 😂😂because a few students stayed on campus. Moreover, most business centers around my residence are segmented mostly for student, because of that, shops and food joints have been temporarily closed to await the reopening of school. This in a way has contributed to living here a bit stressful.

Today, I woke up around 7:00am , I did a few chores by washing a few clothings and engaged in a clean up excersise. Afterwards I needed to take breakfast. But since the surrounding food joints were closed, I had to walk a farther distance than usual just to purchase some bread and porridge for myself.

Around 10:30am after I had broken fast, it was quite unfortunate my porridge succeeded in making me dizzy😴, thereby luring me to bed🤦😄, so I rested for a while. After some minutes of sleep, I resumed work on my project because that was the reason why I stayed aside the fact that, I lived very far from school. My supervisor in the person of Mr. Luu Yin had  initially sent me a few suggestions and modifications of which I had to attend to. Quickly, I delved into that to make some touches on what was supposed to be done.

I spent about three and a half hours on that in other to ensure the best. I was a bit exausted and needed to refresh myself to release some stress and tiredness.

When the sun was a bit down, I picked up ear piece to enjoy some music while I strolled for about 30 minutes. It was nearly 4:00 pm after I returned from the walk.

From my introductory post, it was obvious that music was something I like a lot. A rehearsal on the bass guitar keeps me motivated and moving. So I made time to spend some quality moments to have a rehearsal session on a couple of songs and also practiced some scales for 2 hours.  

Later on in the evening around 6:30pm, made preparations for supper.

Afterwards I visited two good friends Justice and Clement who also stayed back in my hostel. We made interesting conversations not forgetting of steemit, and had fun together as friends till it was around 8:30 pm.

Finally, I came back to review what I have done for the day with regards to my project work, washed down and took off to bed.

I thank God that in all, my day was successful and I was able to achieve all that I intended for the day. Thank you for reading my post 🤗🤗.
