Steemit Iron Chef 2018 Act 01 Round 06: "Fantasy of tomatoes, mushrooms and seaweed in a bed of crispy potatoes".

¡Hello friends!

This is my second entry to participate in the contest organized by @progressivechef Steemit Iron Chef 2018 Act 01 Round 06, ¡Using my favorite vegetable, in this case the tomato, make my plate to show it to the world!


The tomato is a vegetable that is grown in Venezuela because it needs hot temperatures, it is very versatile with it you can make delicious dishes: pures, sauces, salads. In addition, it nutritionally provides many vitamins, including the B complex, vitamin C, lycopene, E.


My proposal is a vegan dish and very nutritious, whose base were tomatoes and mushrooms, tinged with a touch of marine flavor, which gave a touch of seaweed that adds, all this in a bed of a delicious tortilla crunchy potatoes with onions, seasoned to taste.


I live in Puerto La Cruz, which is a coastal area of Anzoátegui state, bathed by beautiful stretches of beaches, made up of numerous fishing villages, that's why I gave my dish a marine touch, to give it a Caribbean flavor.

My proposal for today is a delicious dish whose base are dehydrated tomatoes, with mushrooms, and pieces of seaweed on a crispy base of potatoes and onions. I hope you enjoy it.

Ingredients:

  • Tomatoes.
  • Mushrooms.
  • Algae.
  • Parsley
  • Cebollin.
  • Garlic.
  • Potatoes.
  • Onion

In a pan with hot oil stir fry the crushed garlic previously, the chives and the chopped parsley in brunoisse.

Add mushrooms and pieces of seaweed, cook everything over low heat and set aside.

We wash the tomatoes very well, cut them lengthwise, remove all their contents, salt and pepper and put them on a tray, bake for about 5 hours to dehydrate.

Unite with the tomato, mushrooms and seaweed that we have previously cooked, add olive oil, soy sauce, salt and pepper to taste.

Finally, we made the potato bed, the first thing we do is grate the potatoes and onions, join them together and put a spoonful of powdered corn starch, salt, pepper and oregano. We unite everything very well. This we will place in a very hot pan with oil, forming a very thin layer as we see in the picture that I show you next.

To present our dish, we planted placing at the base our bed of rich crispy potatoes, over our dehydrated tomastes with mushrooms and seaweed, we finished decorating to our liking. Thank you for sharing this adventure with me.
