Steemit Idea: Default Currency Denomination Option

Add an option to change the default currency denomination to either USD, BTC, or STEEM.

My brain has already been thinking in terms of BTC valuation anyway and would be nice to have that flexibility. Plus I would venture to guess that a default denomination of BTC would cut down on some of the perceived price fluctuations.

Just a quick concept that I would like to see!

    This would be a great option to have. The question is do the people behind Steem want crypto-newbies to know that there are other coins (Bitcoin in this case) out there....

      Are BTC and Steem really competitors? I see Steem as more complementary to BTC. As its a totally unique use case.
