Vaseline is one of lotions that are of great importance, in providing the required skin care and especially sensitive ones. But what we do not know is that the inventor of Vaseline had a tablespoon of it every morning, and behind all that was a wonderful fact.
Sir Robert Chasebro began his work as a chemist, working on refining kerosene from amber whale oil. He is said to be an oil explorer in Titusville, Pennsylvania. To find out more, he quit his job and went to Titusville to discover a new substance that might emerge from the recently discovered fuel, known as the "petroleum jelly". His trade name was Vaseline.
Chizpro had high confidence in his product before he was released to the market when he was first placed on wounds and burns sustained. He was completely satisfied with his product. He sold it for the first time to pharmacies, but no one was sure to experience this new invention, and failed in his first attempts to sell. Inventor Vaseline
One day, he traveled to New York to explain his product. In front of a crowd, he burned his skin with a flame and acidic substance and then placed the petroleum jelly in order to explain more about the strange effects of his product. He also provided free samples to increase demand.
He finally succeeded when he opened his factory and named his producer Vaseline with a patent in 1870.
After that, many people claimed that Chizbro had a tablespoon of Vaseline. He himself admitted that he used to take a spoon every morning for several years, perhaps to prolong his life, believing in his healing and healing abilities. He lived for 96 years!
