Many people have made tremendous achievements in various field of human endeavour but found true happiness a distant mirage. What many people failed to understand is that true happiness is not something we can sought for outside ourselves, it is conceived right from within ourselves. True Happiness is within our reach. Lasting happiness is never achieved by chance, it is a crowning product of our constant effort. Striving to make our life better through our conscious endeavour and deliberate responsible acts while engaging consistency, commitment and willpower is one of the most reliable path to long-lasting happiness. Here is a list of the some of the indispensable elements of happiness everyone must instil into their lifestyle and everyday life if we desire to stay and remain happy.

  1. Health and Energy: Health and Energy combined is arguably the most important element of a healthy life. Without wellness and buoyant energy in our daily life, we can never experience true happiness. We constantly do our best and work hard to achieve it. It is until when you experience a high-level of pain-free health and a continuous flow of energy that you feel truly happy. Many times, our health can be referred to as a deficiency need, which means we do not think about our health until we are deprived of it. Applying discipline and willpower to achieve and maintain high level of health and fitness is essential for everybody.

  2. Happy Relationship with other People: Our relationship with other people contribute significant portions to our level of happiness. Good relationship and interaction with people fosters happiness while unhealthy relationship with people breeds rejection, hatred and frustration and unhappiness to many people. Aristotle asserted that ‘Man is a social animal’. We are created and bound to function in a society living and working with other people at every stage of our lives. Self-actualisation is the personal guarantee that everything we do with our lives worth the effort. It is the inner feeling of peace and serenity, the very success every soul crave for. Self-actualisation is certainly the ideal thing everyone should strive to achieve in a lifetime both professionally and personally.
