Naturally Ease Pain Part 4

Hey everyone. Today I will be continuing the series on easing pain naturally. So far in prior posts, we have listed capsaicin for joint pain, cloves for toothache, and peppermint for stomach pain. Today we will be dealing with migraines. Be sure to check out my prior posts to learn more on the other topics. Now lets get to today's post...

Research suggests that low levels of the mineral magnesium play a role in migraines. Migraines are becoming more common nowadays due to the fact that roughly 2/3 of the Western population is not getting enough magnesium. Magnesium oxide is used for migraine prevention, at a dose of 400-500 milligrams, according to the American Migraine Foundation, and it's mostly effective in those whose migraines are accompanied by aura.

Magnesium oxide is only method of taking magnesium. There are other forms as well such as magnesium citrate, malate, or aspartate. However, the best way to be sure that magnesium is absorbed and better tolerated in the body is via magnesium oil applied topically on your skin. I wrote some prior posts on DIY Liquid Magnesium. Be sure to check it out. As with all medical advise, be sure to check with your doctor first before if you have symptoms that are affecting your everyday life.

Well that is all for now. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you learned something new today. I will see you again soon...
