Following up on the broken anchor links

It looks like Markdown anchor links are unfortunately at this point in time not going to be available for Steemit users.

After publishing my most recent post on the inability to post Markdown anchor links on the platform for things like dynamic tables of contents, I posted it to the relevant GitHub issue.

As you can see from @sneak's response, the fix is low priority and there aren't any resources devoted to it yet.

So what to do in the meantime? Well, I know that at least in my case, if a post of mine has a table of contents, I'll post a version of it with anchor links on my GitHub account, and what I post on Steemit will be a version without the links.

The lack of anchor links will also encourage me to write shorter posts (400-800 words, not including the licensing and view history links at the bottom of each post).
