Asus VG49V is a 49'' display that’s packed with technology to improve what you seewhile playing a game.
The monitor stretches at a super-ultra-wide 32:9 aspect ratio over an 1800R curve that brings the far edges closer for a more immersive experience. It's resolution is double 1080p (3840 x 1080)
It's a double full HD monitor which doubles the horizontal space of a full monitor which expands games deep into your periphery and view multiple open windows and tabs.
You can set multitasking on multiple devices,
there is an option on the monitor "Picture-by-Picture mode which let's you view inputs from two separate sources. While this would save those who uses two monitors for two inputs you could actually set two inputs in one Monitor now.
It's known for having the best refresh rate interms of game monitors. The 144HZ maximium refresh rate is known as the best so far and uses FreeSync to control the refresh rate from 48-144Hz to match the output of compatible graphics cards. Using the FreeSync with the GPU minimizes performance stuttering and eliminates screen tearing that disrupts your view of the game.
It also has a cool feature which is the 4-ms pixel response time which ensures objects on the screen look crisp, with minimal ghosting, blurring, and smearing even when they’re zooming by.
And for sharper images a feature known as extreme Low Motion Blur strobes the backlight to achieve a moving-picture response time of just 1 ms. Strobing requires a fixed refresh rate, so ELMB works at 85, 100, or 120Hz.
